Facebook–easy networking in your PJs
Mar 12th, 2008 by Julie
I’ve resisted the whole social networking scene (MySpace, Facebook, etc.) mainly because I never had a clear explanation of how to use it properly for business networking. I mean, sure, it’s great for finding friends, building relationships with people who are interested in the same things you are, sharing ideas…oh, wait, that’s what pull-marketing is all about.
So, it’s time. I started with LinkedIn because it’s well-known as a business platform. It’s fairly static, though, not a lot of action going on.
Then I read this post by Shama over at After the Launch. Check it out, it’s a very clear "how-to" on using Facebook to promote your business. As soon as I hit "publish" on this post, I’m heading over to join the conversation. Anyone want to join me?

Hi Julie Ann -
Thanks for the shout out to Diva Marketing and Diva Marketing Talks. Yvonne DiVita and Deanna Sutton were so generous in sharing their knowledge about how to use social media to build relationships with women. I too found the generation differences really interesting.
Noticed that you launched Pull-ometry recently. Welcome to the wonderful world of blogs and social media! Hope you have as much fun as I’ve had
Thanks Toby,
I’m having a blast with the new blog. It’s like every post is a new adventure in technology! (Your podcast was the first time I tried embedding a media player.)
